What is PEMF? (Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency)

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy is a physical therapy which generates large area pulsed magnetic field of low frequency on the human body. It is an active therapeutic device which has the following therapeutic effects:

  • Pain-relieving (analgesic);
  • Anti-spasmodic to muscles;
  • Anti-swelling (anti-oedema);
  • Vasodilating (dilating the circulatory vessels such as arteries);
  • Regeneration;
  • Metabolic-detoxifying (eliminating harmful substances);
  • Healing (with support of regeneration, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic).

Applications are recommended especially for musculoskeletal problems, vascular insufficiency and a wide range of degenerative diseases.
